Today was cloudy. Rainy. Dreary. Gloomy. The weather 100% reflected my mood.
That's why on this cloudy, rainy, dreary, and gloomy day in Ohio, I am glad that I can curl up under a blanket, drink hot cappuccino, and completely immerse myself in my work. And it just so happens that the current session I am working on is a sunset session with a with a couple of beautiful soon-to-be parents.
I'm reminding myself that no matter how dark and gloomy it may seem, the clouds will part and the sun will shine through. I just need a little patience.
Smiles and lots of love, Taylor

There's just something incredible about the days before a family blooms.
So many hopes and wishes await.
I think this is why I love maternity sessions...
We began outside...
Maybe it's the dog-lover in me, but these next two just melt my heart.
Do they look excited for their little brother's arrival or what?
Then we headed to my studio...
Then we headed downtown... (I'm on a downtown kick right now for some reason. LOVE these shots.)
Aren't her eyes just awesome?
And that's what I call a well-rounded session!;)
Have a wonderful week everyone.
Smiles and lots of love, Taylor

She's waiting for her second baby. I'm waiting for my third baby (my Nikon D800).
We're both feeling the anticipation.
I loved everything about photographing this family for the first time. I truly cannot wait for this little girl to arrive.
Smiles and lots of love, Taylor

Tracy totally ROCKED her maternity session! But how could she not? She is beyond gorgeous! I enjoyed every bit of photographing this beautiful family for the second time and I cannot wait to meet baby K. Oh, and can you believe it was t-shirt weather in January? LOVE it.
This is why I love photographing Jack. He loves the camera and has such an awesome personality! He had us all laughing!
Have a great week, everyone! And stay tuned... a sweet little red-head just turned one and her session was a blast!
Smiles and lots of love, Taylor

Take a bit to acknowledge the beauty that is present.  Don't dwell in the wispy dreams of the future; You could get lost there.  Hold tight to the present because these are the moments that are constantly fleeting. Don't wish it away because there is always a little sadness that is paired with a dream finally happening:
you lose that something to dream about.
