I've been looking forward to their big day since their engagement session.  It came and went with much excitement, happiness, and a little bit of panic: I got locked in the bathroom YET AGAIN while shooting a wedding. I'm not quite sure why this keeps happening to me, but it resulted in a few laughs and with me climbing over the bathroom stall.  I guess it's a good thing Monica and Ryan chose a photographer who is a former gymnast!
Anyway, may your future be filled with as much joy and love that is in your hearts today.
Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your absolutely stunning big day!
These are a couple of the cutest flower girls I've ever seen! Sweet miss Ava is missing a shoe...
These last few of sweet Gracie truly tug at my heartstrings. Last night, she did not want to be called "Grace". Her name was "Taylor". <3
Have a great week everyone!
Smiles and lots of love, Taylor
P.S. Be sure to scroll down to my previous post and enter in my Christmas Session contest! :)

I want to wish these two sweet clients of mine many happy years to come.

Yesterday wouldn't have been my ideal day for a wedding. Thunder could be heard outside Jenna's bedroom window, and the streets of Tiffin were flooded with rain water.
It wasn't my greatest day either. On the way to the ceremony, I underestimated the water, drove through it, and completely ruined my engine. My car was not able to be driven, and it was towed during the ceremony. My amazing boyfriend saved the night though. He waited for me during the ceremony and gave me a ride to the reception.
Even though it rained on their wedding day, it was still perfect in every way. There's something about being around people who are completely and totally in love... The excitement for the days to come, the admiration found in the present, and the thankfulness found in the past. I wish you both the best in the years to come.

I had to include this last one of my sissy and her bf. Love them!

This couple immediately captured my heart with their fresh energy, fun-loving attitude, and adorable height difference.  The private ceremony was lovely and as the photos show, Ronee was just too beautiful for words.  To Ronee and Brad: the best is yet to be. <3

I'll be a mess when I dance with my own daddy at my own wedding. I have yet to make it through a father-daughter dance with dry eyes!

I had to include this last one of my own parents. I love them so much!
Photographing weddings has proved to be a rewarding, fun, emotional, and tiresome experience so far. I am looking forward to the rest of my 2011 wedding couples! I have an insanely busy week ahead, I'm exhausted, and my feet are KILLING me. It's bedtime.
Goodnight, all!
Smiles and lots of love, Taylor

My classes on my schedule for next year are reflective of my dream of someday working in the NICU.  I've been kidding myself for the past month by contemplating on what I truly want to do for the rest of my life.  This little idea has been tucked away in the deep parts of my heart for a very long time. It seems so simple now.  If only my classes next year were that simple.
I've had the pleasure of meeting three beautiful little people this past week.
I love this photo of me posing sweet Bryson (thanks Kyle), and of course I love the photo of Bryson that was produced as well!

First, I would like to thank all of you who entered the Mother's Day Contest! I really loved reading through the posts, they were all so touching and sweet. Every single one of you are so deserving and it's really unfortunate that I only have time for one session. I wish I could photograph all of you with your children!
With no further ado I would like to congratulate...

Special thanks to my little sissy for helping me out with the drawing. I love her chipped fingernail polish;) Ashley, I will be contacting you shortly!
Anyway, I'll post a couple photos from the weekend and then it's back to work on my psychology paper! Enjoy:)

I knew for sure that when I first met this couple that God couldn't have made a better pair. I feel so blessed to have had the wonderful experience of being a part of their big day. May the joy in the years ahead be as great as the love in your hearts today.
(And for those of you that were wondering, I have yet to photograph a wedding in which I can keep dry eyes. I'm just a helpless and hopeless romantic;P)

There is always so much raw emotion all wrapped up in one day! I am so glad I was able to capture Sue reading the letter that Jake had wrote to her for this day.

I couldn't resist sneaking in this adorable photo of my boyfriend's mom and stepdad dancing. Deb and Casey thought they could escape me from hiding in the middle of the dance floor... they were wrong;)
